Japan, the United States, Australia and India will agree during their leaders' meeting on Tuesday in Tokyo to launch a maritime initiative for tracking illegal fishing and getting a better picture of activities taking place in territorial waters, a U.S. government official said. Under the initiative, the Quad partners will cooperate to help deliver what is called "maritime domain awareness" capability across the Indo-Pacific region, the official said.
