Japan had a trade deficit of 2.16 trillion yen ($15.5 billion) in October, the Finance Ministry said Thursday. Exports gained 25.3 percent while imports increased 53.5 percent, the ministry's preliminary report showed. It marked the 15th straight month of red ink for Japan, which has seen the value of imports inflated by the yen's rapid depreciation.
