Japan Top Finance Bureaucrat Resigns over Sexual Harassment

Tokyo, April 18 (Jiji Press)--Japanese Vice Finance Minister Junichi Fukuda has resigned over his alleged sexual harassment of a female journalist, Finance Minister Taro Aso revealed Wednesday.

"I accepted a resignation offer" from Fukuda, Aso told reporters.

Deputy Vice Finance Minister Koji Yano will cover the vice minister's job for now.
