Tokyo, Nov. 1 (Jiji Press)--Japan's Honda Motor Co. <7267> said Thursday it will revive its Insight hybrid by year-end after a four-year break.

The company will release the new Insight midsize sedan with a 1,500 cc engine and two electric motors. Prices will be disclosed soon.

Honda aims to electrify two-thirds of its vehicles sold globally by 2030.

The automaker plans to beef up its lineup by adding midsize hybrid sedans, a popular vehicle type.

In 2009, Honda launched a hatchback model of the Insight hybrid.
