Sendai, Miyagi Pref., March 9 (Jiji Press)--Local farmers and fishery-processing businesses in Miyagi Prefecture are seeing a steady recovery in sales since the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, as they join forces with one-time rivals to achieve reconstruction.
According to Japan's Fisheries Agency, almost all disaster-hit fishery-processing facilities in the northeastern prefecture that had hoped to resume operations had achieved comebacks as of the end of 2017.
