Japanese Bombing Victim Enjoyed Family Life in Sri Lanka

Tokyo, April 23 (Jiji Press)--Kaori Takahashi, the sole confirmed Japanese victim of Sunday's bombing attacks in Sri Lanka, enjoyed her family life in the South Asian country, hoping that those days full of happiness and laughter would last forever, according to what is believed to be her Facebook page.

Takahashi came to Sri Lanka in 2015, together with her daughter. Her Japanese husband had arrived earlier. In a Facebook post, she wished that everyone in her family would live a happy and healthy life every day.

She reported that she gave birth to a boy in Sri Lanka. She also uploaded many family photos.

Takahashi graduated from Junten Senior High School in Tokyo, which focuses on education to help students to work internationally in the future, and advanced to Sophia University and then a graduate school of Tokyo Metropolitan University.

"She had great curiosity and was energetic and intelligent, as well as fluent in English," her then teacher at the high school said.
