Tokyo, May 14 (Jiji Press)--Japanese travel agency H.I.S. Co. <9603> said Tuesday that it will begin banking agency services for individual customers through its financial subsidiary in stages from spring next year.

The services will include settlements of travel fees and foreign currency exchange.

Customers can use the services online after setting up accounts. While remittances will be free of charge, fees will be collected from foreign exchange and other services.

Corporate customers will be able to use the services from autumn this year.

On Tuesday, the subsidiary, H.I.S. Impact Finance Co., and GMO Aozora Net Bank, a unit of Aozora bank <8304>, signed a memorandum on their business partnership. The H.I.S. side will provide the new services using GMO Aozora's banking infrastructure.
