Kawasaki, Kanagawa Pref., May 31 (Jiji Press)--Two magazines featuring notorious mass murder cases in the past were found at the home of the 51-year-old suspected attacker in Tuesday's deadly stabbing near Tokyo, investigative sources said Friday.

The magazines were among tens of items confiscated during a search of the home of Ryuichi Iwasaki in Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture by the prefectural police department's investigation headquarters on Wednesday.

Along with the magazines, the seized items included a game machine and a notebook in which the kanji character "sei," meaning correct, was written more than once, the sources said.

The police are now trying to determine whether there is any connection between his motives and the magazines, they said.

The suspect is now thought to have put on the gloves he wore at the time of the stabbing right before his arrival at the crime scene and prepared two knives in a crouching posture near the scene.
