Osaka, June 29 (Jiji Press)--U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday he has told Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe about the need to review the "unfair" security treaty between the two countries.

Asked at a press conference whether the United States will withdraw from the bilateral treaty, Trump said, "I'm not thinking about that at all" although it is "an unfair agreement."

But he added, "We are gonna have to change it."

The press conference took place in Osaka after the end of the two-day Group of 20 summit in the western Japan city through the day.

Trump did not clarify when he talked about the issue with Abe. The two leaders held bilateral talks in Osaka on Friday on the sidelines of the G-20 summit, after meeting in Washington in April and in Tokyo in May.
