9 Japanese Firms Join to Create Futuristic Office Space

Tokyo, July 8 (Jiji Press)--Nine Japanese companies said Monday that they will start a joint demonstration project to create healthy and comfortable office spaces for workers.
The companies include Panasonic Corp. <6752>, Daikin Industries Ltd. <6367> and Lion Corp. <4912>.
They will share technologies and know-how, including on artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.
By collecting data such as workers' activities, air conditioning and lighting through the project, each company aims to examine the effectiveness of its own futuristic products and services.
The companies will establish an office with a floor space of about 1,000 square meters in Tokyo on July 16 for the project.
