ANA, JAL to Launch Flights Linking Narita with Vladivostok

Tokyo, July 29 (Jiji Press)--All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines <9201> said Monday they will open regular passenger flight services between Narita International Airport near Tokyo and the Russian Far East city of Vladivostok.

ANA, a unit of ANA Holdings Inc. <9202>, plans to start operating the flights in March 2020, and JAL plans to open the route starting with its summer 2020 timetable.

ANA and JAL will be the first Japanese airlines to operate the route.

Vladivostok is drawing attention as a growing business area and a popular tourist destination.
