Japanese Prince Hisahito to Visit Bhutan in Aug.

Tokyo, July 31 (Jiji Press)--Japanese Crown Prince Akishino, Crown Princess Kiko and their son, Prince Hisahito, will make a 10-day visit to Bhutan from Aug. 16, the Imperial Household Agency said Wednesday.

The visit will be the first foreign trip by the 12-year-old prince, who is second in line to the throne.

The Imperial couple and their son will depart from Tokyo International Airport at Haneda on Aug. 16.

They are scheduled to arrive in Bhutan on Aug. 17, after staying a night in Bangkok, the Thai capital.

During their stay in Bhutan, the three will pay a courtesy call on King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and visit temples and museums.
