Tokyo, Sept. 12 (Jiji Press)--Japan's three major mobile phone carriers are set to release the latest models of Apple Inc.'s popular iPhone series on Sept. 20.

The three major carriers--NTT Docomo Inc. <9437>, KDDI Corp. <9433> and Softbank Corp. <9434>--will accept reservations for the three new iPhone models from Friday.

At Softbank, tax-included prices of the three models range from 89,280 yen to 187,680 yen. NTT Docomo and KDDI have yet to disclose the sales prices for the handsets.

The three models are the standard iPhone 11, its high-end model of iPhone 11 Pro, which has three cameras, and iPhone 11 ProMax, featuring a large screen.

Softbank will offer up to 50 pct discount off the handset prices for customers who buy the iPhones under a new purchase support service.
