Z Holdings, SBI to Cooperate in Financial Services
Tokyo, Oct. 11 (Jiji Press)--Internet portal Z Holdings Corp. <4689>, formerly known as Yahoo Japan Corp., and online financial services company SBI Holdings Inc. <8473> have announced a business alliance in a wide range of financial services, including brokerage and foreign exchange margin trading services.
"Fintech services combining finance and the internet will surely drive our company's growth," Z Holdings President Kentaro Kawabe told a press conference on Thursday.
"We hope to make financial services more convenient and familiar," he said.
In brokerage services, the two companies will consider measures to expand their customer bases including by allowing customers to open accounts and trade stocks through Yahoo Finance app, which is used by 15 million people per month.
In FX services, they hope to improve the quality of their services by sharing information including on transaction services.
