Former Japanese Princess Gives Birth to Boy
Tokyo, Nov. 17 (Jiji Press)--Ayako Moriya, the third daughter of the late Japanese Prince Takamado and now a commoner, has given birth to a boy, her first child, sources in the Imperial Household Agency said Sunday.
Moriya, 29, lost her membership of the Imperial Family after marrying her husband, Kei, 33, an employee of major Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen K.K. <9101>, in October 2018.
Prince Takamado was a cousin of former Emperor Akihito, the father of current Emperor Naruhito and now holding the title of Emperor Emeritus.
