Tokyo, Nov. 28 (Jiji Press)--Combined domestic output by eight major Japanese automakers declined 11.9 pct from a year earlier to 741,102 units in October, the companies' data showed Thursday.

Honda Motor Co.'s <7267> output plummeted 36.7 pct, reflecting suspension of production of the N-WGN minivehicle due to an electric park brake problem.

Subaru Corp. <7270> saw its production tumble by 29.0 pct, after it halted operations at an assembly plant in the city of Ota, Gunma Prefecture, as super Typhoon Hagibis disrupted parts supplies.

Toyota Motor Corp.'s <7203> output fell 1.4 pct due chiefly to fewer plant utilization days than in October last year.

Output fell 5.5 pct at Suzuki Motor Corp. <7269> and 11.8 pct at Nissan Motor Co. <7201>.
