Tokyo, Dec. 4 (Jiji Press)--The Japan Business Federation, or Keidanren, said Wednesday its chairman, Hiroaki Nakanishi, is planning to attend the World Economic Forum annual meeting to be held in Davos, Switzerland, in late January.

Nakanishi was hospitalized in late May to receive treatment for lymphoma.

He has held back from making domestic and international business trips, even after he resumed his duties early in September.

Nakanishi's doctor said the chairman is not yet fully recovered but is in remission, according to the country's biggest business lobby.

Nakanishi is also planning to attend a meeting of business leaders from Japan, the United States and Europe set to be held in Washington in early February.
