Manga Creator Leiji Matsumoto Leaves Hospital

Tokyo, Dec. 5 (Jiji Press)--Renowned Japanese manga artist Leiji Matsumoto, known for Galaxy Express 999 and many other works, left a hospital in Turin, Italy, on Wednesday, Italian news agency ANSA reported.
Matsumoto, 81, is in good condition, according to the news agency.
During a visit to Turin last month for an event for one of his works, Matsumoto was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, the news agency said, adding that he would leave for Japan within Wednesday.
