111 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Tokyo

Tokyo, July 5 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo confirmed 111 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, the metropolitan government said, bringing its total cases to 6,765.
The Japanese capital saw its single-day number of cases exceed 100 for the fourth straight day.
On Saturday, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike called on residents not to make nonessential trips to other prefectures in the country.
Sunday's total included 49 cases in people in their 20s and 24 cases in their 30s. Fifty-three cases had unknown infection routes.
Forty-six cases involved nightclub workers and visitors. A nursing care facility for the elderly in Arakawa Ward had seven new cases in female residents in their 70s to 100s.
