Tokyo Confirms 143 New Coronavirus Cases

Tokyo, July 14 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo confirmed 143 new cases of novel coronavirus infection on Tuesday, the metropolitan government said.
The daily figure in the Japanese capital stood below 200 for two days in a row.
Of the 143 people, 24 caught the virus in nightlife districts, including eating and drinking establishments with hospitality services. Seventeen people were infected at workplaces, 13 people at preschool facilities and 10 through contact with family members with the virus.
The routes of infection are diversifying, according to the Tokyo government. Untraceable cases stood at 64.
In Tokyo, six more people linked to Theater Moliere tested positive for the virus, raising the total number of cases related to the theater in Shinjuku Ward in the capital to 33.
