Tokyo Reports 814 New Coronavirus Cases

Tokyo, Jan. 2 (Jiji Press)--A total of 814 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Tokyo on Saturday, according to the metropolitan government.

The daily count in the Japanese capital rose from Friday’s 783 but was less than a record high of 1,337 reported on Thursday.
