Nagoya, Aug. 21 (Jiji Press)--The organizing committee of the upcoming Asian Games and Asian Para Games in the central Japan city of Nagoya unveiled to the press on Friday dishes to be served at a dining hall for athletes, featuring local delicacies and options for diverse dietary needs.

A total of 35 dishes, including halal and vegan options, will be served at the dining hall in the athletes' village at the Port of Nagoya Garden Pier to support athletes' physical condition and fatigue recovery.

The menu will include dishes from Japanese and foreign cuisine, as well as Nagoya specialties such as "kishimen" flat noodles and "tebasaki" chicken wings.

"The dining hall is a place to relax," said Ayumi Tanimoto, an organizing committee official in charge of athletes' affairs. "I hope athletes will enjoy dining and taking a break."
