COVID-19 and Japan’s Economy

The spread of COVID-19 cases in Japan has suppressed the movement of people and goods, greatly undermining the economy. Now that Japan is into the second year of the pandemic, we examine the current state of the economy in such areas as the business cycle, public finances, employment, and ways of working.
