Since its first stretch of line was launched in 1927, the Tokyo Metro system has become a key part of the transportation network carrying people all across Japan’s capital. This series traces the routes of some of these subway lines, but above ground. Walking through the areas served by these subterranean trains provides fresh ways to discover what Tokyo has to offer.
