With one year to go before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, planners are hard at work putting the finishing touches on the games. In this series we look at critical issues facing authorities, like minimizing the effects of Tokyo’s stifling summer heat, alleviating congestion predicted for roads and trains, and improving accessibility of the transportation network.
