Japan Draws 2–2 with Senegal in Lively World Cup March

Japan took a step closer to reaching the knock-out stage of the World Cup for the first time since 2010 by drawing 2–2 with Senegal in an exciting Group H match on June 24, 2018, in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Both teams are now tied with four points going into the last round of group play and are one point ahead of third-place Colombia, who beat Poland 3–0.
