Kaminaga Mikio

Editor. Born in Tokyo in 1950. Graduated from Shinshū University after taking a two-year sabbatical to live in the United States. Since joining Yama-kei Publishers, he has served as lead editor of Yama to keikoku, the firm’s flagship mountaineering magazine, and has edited numerous alpine guides, visiting more than 60 countries for research. Member of the Japanese Alpine Club. Author of Mikan no junrei (Unfinished Journeys), Unmei no setsuryō (Destiny’s Slopes), and other works.
