Nakazato Yuima

Fashion designer. Born in Tokyo in 1985. Graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp, in 2008. Launched his fashion brand Yuima Nakazato in 2009. He has regularly presented at the Paris Haute Couture Week since 2016 and is only the second Japanese designer to do so since Mori Hanae. In 2023, designed the costumes for the Boston Ballet’s production of La Mer, choreographed by Nanine Linning. He will hold a solo exhibition at the Museum for Lace and Fashion in Calais, France, from June 2024 to January 2025.
