Nishikida Aiko

Professor of political science, Keiō University, specializing in Middle East politics and migration and refugee studies. Born in 1977. Received her master’s degree in political science from the University of Tokyo and her doctorate in literature from the Graduate University for Advanced Studies. Was an associate professor at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies before assuming her current position. Also serves as director of the Japanese Scholarship Programme for Palestinians, which assists stateless refugees in Jordan.
