Saori N. Katada

Professor of international relations at the University of Southern California. A specialist in international politics, she was an international program officer at the United Nations Development Program and a researcher at the World Bank. Author of books including Japan’s New Regional Reality: Geoeconomic Strategy in the Asia-Pacific (2020) and coauthor of Taming Japan’s Deflation: The Debate over Unconventional Monetary Policy (2018), among other works.
