Miyasaka Masayuki

Guest professor, Immunology Frontier Research Center, Osaka University. Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1947, Miyasaka earned his medical degree from Kyoto University and PhD from the Australian National University. After holding positions in Kanazawa Medical University’s Department of Internal Medicine, the Basel Institute for Immunology, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Medical Science, Miyasaka went on to do research and teaching at the Osaka University School of Medicine. The author of titles including Men’ekiryoku o tsuyoku suru (Boosting Your Immunity), Miyasaka has also co-authored such titles as Men’eki to yamai no kagaku (The Science of Immunity and Disease).
