Baba Kimihiko

Writer and Sinologist. Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1958. Completed a postgraduate degree in Western philosophy at Hokkaidō University before undertaking doctoral studies at Waseda University, where he earned his doctorate in philosophy. He worked as an editor in a publishing firm, and has taught Japanese and Japanese culture at Beijing Foreign Studies University since 2019. His writings include Sengo Nihonjin no Chūgokuzō (The Postwar Japanese Image of China) and Gendai Nihonjin no Chūgokuzō (The Modern Japanese Image of China).
