Iwashige Yoshiharu

Lawyer and member of the Tokyo Bar Association. Born in 1958. Graduated from Waseda University. Joined the Tokyo Shimin Hōritsu Jimusho law office in 1997. Founded a national council to address the issues of young people shackled by student loans and serves as its secretary-general. Is also a member of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations Poverty Problem Headquarters and a guest lecturer at the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan. Publications include Nihon no shōgakukin wa korede iinoka (Problems with Japanese Scholarships) and Shōgakukin jigoku (Scholarship Hell).
