Sportswriter. Born in Tokyo in 1971. Wrote for newspapers before going freelance; he now specializes in boxing, wrestling, jūdō, and rugby. Regular contributor to the top Japanese sports magazine Number and the boxing magazine Boxing Beat and a writer for the Boxing News website. Author of Keiō ragubii—Tamashii no fukkatsu (The Return of the Keiō Rugby Spirit).
