Gotō Yoshibumi

Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Japan Sūdoku Association. Born in Tokyo in 1951. In 1999 joined the game publisher Nikoli; in 2005 he began touring countries in Asia, Europe, and North America, organizing presentations and other events to boost Sūdoku among puzzle fans, and in 2011 he rose to vice president of the company. In 2015 he launched the JSA as one of its directors, becoming chair in 2018. Continues to hold Sūdoku-related events nationwide, including classes in tackling the puzzles and, since 2017, official skill certification tests.
