Yumoto Kōichi

Folklorist and yōkai researcher. Born in Sumida, Tokyo, in 1950. Previously worked at the Kawasaki City Museum as a curator and as chief curator. Has worked to collect, store, and promote the importance of yōkai materials for more than 30 years. Honorary director of the Yumoto Kōichi Memorial Japan Yōkai Museum (Miyoshi Mononoke Museum).
