Kajipon Marco Zangetsu

Cultural researcher and “grave pilgrim.” Born in Osaka in 1967. Graduated from Kindai University. Has visited the graves of around 2,500 cultural figures in 101 countries over the past 33 years. His penname combines his family name, Kajimoto, with “Marco,” the name of a character in 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother, one of his favorite children’s books. His most recent publication is Haka mairā Kajipon no sekai ongakuka junreiki (My Pilgrimage to the Graves of the World’s Great Musicians).
