新旅途的起点
在横滨的展览中，尤为引人关注的是蔡国强在日本创作的《夜樱》。这幅高8米、宽24米的巨型作品在主展馆进行了展示。和纸上描绘着柔弱的樱花花瓣，隐藏在花丛中的猫头鹰，目光犀利，咄咄逼人。

这幅作品也没有使用画笔，而是用燃烧火药的方式完成构图。“您为什么选择了樱花呢？”——面对电视台记者的提问，蔡国强回答道：“樱花生命短暂，转瞬即逝。但它会等待春天再次来临。这种力与美，和火药在某些方面不乏共性。”
蔡国强表示，此次回归日本是一种尝试，他希望在内心世界中找回令人眷恋的“东方”，那是在自己获得众多成果以后才领悟到的。在新的旅途中，蔡国强又会收获怎样的成果呢？让我们拭目以待吧。
